Billings LIFE provides clinical instruction to women and couples in the Billings Ovulation Method® of natural fertility management. For your convenience we offer a range of teaching options, including private appointments, telephone consultations and an internet teaching service. Your tutor will offer regular reviews of your chart to help you identify your individual patterns of fertility and infertility and will help you to use this information to correctly apply the guidelines of the Billings Ovulation Method®.
Our fee of $200 includes initial assessment and instruction in the Billings Ovulation Method® by an accredited teacher, as well as ongoing support for six months. Discounted rates are available for concession card holders.
Fertility Assessment Clinic
Billings LIFE has collaborative arrangements with several medical practitioners in different States of Australia. In Melbourne, Dr Mary Walsh, a GP with a special interest in fertility, offers a Fertility Assessment Clinic for women and couples planning a pregnancy or having difficulty conceiving. Accredited Billings Ovulation Method® tutors work with Dr Walsh to teach you how to identify the fertile times in your cycles to optimise your chances of achieving pregnancy.
Dr Walsh guides investigations and treatment options to assess and improve your fertility and general health and uses your Billings Ovulation Method® chart as a diagnostic resource. She also undertakes assessment of male fertility, with a holistic medical health check and appropriate investigations. You can access this clinic at:

Billings LIFE provides online services for accurate information on the authentic Billings Ovulation Method® and issues related to fertility and reproductive health These include this website, www.billings.life, and Fertility Pinpoint™.
Fertility Pinpoint™ is an internet based charting system which allows a woman to share her chart with an accredited Billings Ovulation Method® tutor. This permits the woman to learn how to recognise her signs of fertility and infertility under the supervision of her Billings tutor without having to meet the teacher in a face to face clinical setting. This is especially beneficial for women who live in remote regions. The advantages of having daily access to a personal teacher make this system a convenient, confidential an effective teaching and learning tool.

Our seminar Monitoring Fertility: Assisting Conception is a category 1 Active Learning Module (ALM) activity, offering 40 Women's Health points in the Quality Improvement & Continuing Professional Development (QI&CPD) program of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. It is approved for Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and MidPlus CPD points.
Our seminar Fertility: A Complete Picture offers 6 Category 2 QI&CPD points and 3 MidPLUS CPD points for midwives.
Training for Billings Ovulation Method® Teachers
Billings LIFE offers education programs for those who wish to become accredited teachers of the Billings Ovulation Method®. Our Teacher Education Course is an approved ALM for RACGP QI&CPD points. This course can be done face-to-face or by correspondence, and contains both theory and practice sessions. Providing all criteria are met, accreditation is obtained by gaining supervised clinical experience and on submitting a Case Study.
Sexuality Education for Adolescents
Billings LIFE offers values-based education seminars on human sexuality designed specifically for secondary school students.
Our trained presenters, many of whom are accredited Billings Ovulation Method® teachers, can offer information sessions on a range of topics to do with human sexuality, STIs, contraception, abortion and relationships. As part of this program, we also provide professional development and continuing education programs for health coordinators and teachers in primary and secondary schools.
